Imprinted Concrete
Pattern Imprinted Concrete is seen more frequently these days as homeowners recognise its very hard wearing and durable features. If laid as a driveway or patio it can lose lose some of its colour over time. If left completely un-maintained it can degrade so badly over time that the bare concrete underneath shows through.
Matt Finish UK specialise in the cleaning and sealing of imprinted concrete surfaces. We re-seal imprinted concrete and re-colour it if necessary to make it look like it was recently installed.
The cleaning and sealing of the concrete is usually carried out over two days. The steps are shown below:
- Pressure washing with a high powered rotary headed surface cleaner is done to remove any surface dirt.
- Once dry, the concrete is the sealed with multiple coats of Smartseal concrete sealants.
- Re-colouring is then carried out at this stage to make the colour look even across the surface
